A message from Francisco Fullana:
I am incredibly disappointed that I won’t be able to join the Alabama Symphony and Carlos Izcaray this week. Unfortunately, yesterday evening the day before flight to Birmingham, I suffered a violent fall that has injured my shoulder. I hope I am back in Birmingham very soon at full strength to make beautiful music with my dear friend Carlos and the world class musicians of the ASO.
Maestro Izcaray continues his Beethoven cycle with Beethoven’s sixth symphony, “Pastoral,” which the composer called “the expression of feeling.”
Gain insight into the music by joining us for Concert Comments each night at 6:15pm in the Reynolds-Kirschbaum Recital Hall.
