Joyce Yang Master Class

Joyce Yang, 2005 Van Cliburn Silver Medalist, will present a master class featuring student performers selected from Samford University’s piano studio. The master class will consist of performances by students who will then be coached through making improvements to their performance by Yang.

Admission to the masterclass is free, and registration is not required. The master class will take place from 1 to 3pm at Samford University’s Brock Recital Hall.

Joyce Yang will perform Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concerto on Friday, January 27 at 11am and 7pm and Saturday January 28 at 7pm at the Alys Stephens Center. The program will also feature Schumann’s Overture from Genoveva and Sibelius’ Symphony No. 1. Visit alsymphony.org/grieg for tickets and information.
