Event Details
Scheherazade tells the age-old tale of One Thousand and One Nights, in which the titular Scheherazade prolongs her life by spinning intriguing tales for her tyrannical husband each night. Scheherazade is represented by a beautiful lyrical violin solo and the lilting motion of the sea comes in the form of the undulating cello and violin sections.
