Young People's Concert 2025: Treble in the Library (Grade 3-6)

The Alabama Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Chris Confessore invite your students in grades 3–6 on a whimsical, educational adventure in this interactive concert experience! Set in a lively library-themed world where music and language collide, this imaginative program is designed to engage elementary students through storytelling and symphonic sound.
Commissioned by the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and written by Candace Neal Pappas, come celebrate the WORLD PREMIERE of Treble in the Library—where Lexi the Librarian and her Junior Librarians discover that with the power of words and the magic of music, even the most cursed library can come back to life! In this vibrant, globe-trotting adventure, the Alabama Symphony Orchestra invites young explorers to discover the sights and sounds of cultures from around the world—through the power of symphonic music. Designed especially for students in PreK through 3rd grade, this interactive program introduces the orchestra’s instrument families while celebrating the joy of music from every corner of the globe. Come along for an unforgettable journey—no suitcase required!

Coffee Concerts
Middle and High School students can enjoy a mini version of our Masterworks Concerts at the 11 am Coffee Concerts on select Fridays throughout the season. Groups of 10+ can register at a rate of $10 per ticket. Groups of less than 10 can purchase tickets directly through the box office.
