Arrival
Doors to Alys Stephens Center open one hour before each performance. Doors into Jemison Hall open 30 minutes before the performance begins. We recommend arriving early — it gives you time to find parking, visit the bar, and settle in without rushing.
Latecomers
If you arrive after the performance has begun, no worries — you will be seated at the next appropriate pause. Out of respect for the musicians and your fellow audience members, seating takes place between pieces rather than between movements. House staff will guide you to your seat at the right moment. We recommend arriving early to settle in comfortably before the music begins.
Phones & Photography
We ask that all phones be silenced before the performance begins. Video recording is strictly prohibited.
Conductor's Comments
Free with every Masterworks ticket - Conductor's Comments is a short talk with the conductor of the evening's concert, giving insight into the pieces you're about to experience. Join us at 6:15pm (before each show) in the Reynolds-Kirschbaum Recital Hall - located in the upper lobby.

Beverages are welcome in Jemison Hall with one simple guideline: drinks must be in the official Alys Stephens Center cup, available at the bar for $10. The good news — your cup is yours to keep. Bring it back to any future performance, and you'll only pay for your refill.
Sealed, commercially bottled water is also permitted in the hall. Outside food and drinks other than bottled water are not allowed.
The bar is located in the lower lobby and opens at 6pm on performance nights.
Come as you are. On any given concert evening at Jemison Hall, see everything from jeans to black tie — and everyone fits right in. There is no dress code, and no one will feel out of place, however they choose to dress. What matters is that you are here.
Jemison Hall is fully ADA-compliant, and the house staff is trained to assist with any need — before, during, or after the performance.
